There can be a lot attributed to where I am today photographically, but nothing / no one has had more of an impact on my progress as a photographer than the person below, my wife, Cara. You see, when I first started getting into photography, I had always wanted to work with people, but truthfully I was scared shitless of the actual process. The whole idea of having someone depend on me to produce an image that either flattered them, or told a small story of their life, etc, was more pressure than I could cope with at the time. Enter Cara, and that all changed. She became my muse, and she was literally my only human subject for the first couple years of having a camera in my hand, posing for me as I learned to shape light, direct the body, and feel comfortable with the entire process. Without her, I really have no idea what direction my photography would have taken, but I can say that it definitely wouldn’t be where I am today.
Today marks the 4th anniversary of my marriage to my muse, so I dug into the archives to find a few of my favorites from the shoots we did together. All of these photos are from between 2005 – 2008. Enjoy.

Sean - Happy anniversary, and Beautiful images.
